Please help, it does not give me life

I am looking for a song, it may be from 10-15-20 years old because I saw it on TV on MTV or another music channel.
I don't remember the lyrics at all but in the music video a handsome man was singing, a little longer dark hair. He was in a white unbuttoned shirt, his pants were on gray suspenders. I think he was singing into a kind of standing silver microphone. He might have had tattoos. I know that the description of a thousand music videos but his voice was really wow.
And I think he had his eyes highlighted with black crayon.
