The hit musical "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)" is a song by the American hip-hop group Beastie Boys also known by its shortened title "Fight for Your Right." The song was released as the fourth single from the group's 1986 studio album Licensed of Chory. It is undoubtedly one of the band's best-known releases. The song reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 list, and was later named by the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" as one of those that shaped world rock and roll.
The song "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)" can also be heard on many compilation albums, such as 1999's "The Sounds of Science," 2005's "Solid Gold Hits" and 2020's "Beastie Boys Music."
