Music video description

"Street Dance" is a song released as a debut single by the band Break Machine in 1983, from the album "Street Dance Party." The hit was produced and written by Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo. It became an international hit, topping the charts in many countries, thus being one of the first hip-hop singles to achieve commercial success. It can also be considered a major achievement that the hit song "Street Dance" was listed as the best-selling single of all time in France.

The song "Street Dance" debuted at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart in March 1984. It also hit No. 1 on the charts in Sweden and Norway, and became the 78th best-selling single of the year in Germany. The band's frontman Keith Rodgers was a radio presenter at New York's WHBI station before starting his career with Break Machine. His program was about rap, and when he decided to record his own material, he became interested in Morali and Belolo, who were urgently looking for musical styles to replace fallen disco music.
