The song "Such Tango" comes from the 1997 album "Nothing Hurts Like Life." Originally, the song "One Time" was to be the single promoting the album, but "Such Tango" gained more popularity. It was hailed as the biggest hit of post-war Poland. It was this song that elevated Budka Suflera to the very top. It was on the first place of the "30 tons" list for several months, and also triumphed on the "Trójka" list. In 1997 the song was awarded the Fryderyk in the hit of the year category. On August 9, 2009, it won the public vote and became the hit of the 35th anniversary of the band Budka Suflera during a concert at the Forest Opera in Sopot. As a curiosity I will mention that in 2001 there was a cover of the song Budka Suflera - Taka Tango performed by the Taiwanese band Power Station.
