"Kalinka" is perhaps the most famous Russian song. It is a very old folk song written as early as 1860 by Ivan Larionov. It greatly appealed to the ruling elite of pre-revolutionary Russia and was included in the official songbook as the "official" folk song. In Poland, the most famous performance of it was recorded by Halina Kunicka, however, I have not been able to find a suitable recording, so today I present to you this song performed by the Alexandrov Choir. "Kalinka" was sung by many different performers such as TaTu, there was even a remix of it performed by the band Yamboo. I would like to invite you to the Aleksandrov Choir - Kalinka.
