Chris Rea - Driving Home For Christmas is a single written by Chris Rea (British singer, songwriter and actor) released in December 1988 as a non-album single. The song debuted at number 53 in the UK Singles Chart in 1988, and re-entered the chart in 2007 holding at number 33. In 2000, Michael Ball released her own version of the song and included it on her Christmas album.
