Debarge is an American R&B band that rose to fame in the 1980s with such hits as "All This Love," "Time Will Reveal" and "Who's Holding Donna Now." Their biggest hit, "Rhythm of the Night," came from their 1985 third album Rhythm of the Night. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won a Grammy Award in the Best Dance Song category. The video for the song was directed by Brian Grant and first aired on MTV in 1985.

"Rhythm of the Night" was the first single to be released after Debarge was dropped from the Motown label. The song was written by Diane Warren and produced by Narad Michael Walden. The music video for the song consists of clips from Debarge concerts and scenes from the film "The Last Dragon." The song has been used in many films, including "The Big Lebowski" and "Napoleon Dynamite."

Debarge was the first R&B band to appear on the "American Bandstand" program in 1985. The song "Rhythm of the Night" was used in many commercials, including a 1985 Pepsi commercial. The song has also been used in many television series, including "Glee" and "The Simpsons."
