Music video description

"Life" is a fun song recorded by British singer Desierre Annette known as Des'ree. The song became the artist's third single from her album "Supernatural," released on June 8, 1998. The song is undoubtedly one of the most popular in the singer's entire oeuvre - it topped the charts in Australia, Italy, the Netherlands or Hungary, while hitting the UK R&B greatest hits chart. As an interesting fact, it is worth mentioning that in 2020 the song "Life" appeared in the series "Sex Education" made by Netflix.

"Life" is a song kept in a relaxed and innocent tone, which talks about various phobias, superstitions and beliefs. There are also themes of world travel and freedom. The melody is joyful and enthusiastic. Interestingly - the song was chosen by BBC listeners as having the worst lyrics ever. In the video, we can see the singer sitting in a black convertible with an umbrella in her hand, which finally flies away. Mike Lipscombe is responsible for its direction.
