The song's lyrics "not everyone understands house music, it's a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing," combined with a hypnotic pulsating beat, became a classic of the genre. The song became an electronic music hit worldwide and opened the door for this artist to a worldwide career as a music producer and DJ. Eddie Amador is also known for his official remixes of hits by artists such as Madonna, Seal and Alanis Morissette.
