She is known in our country thanks to Czeslaw Niemen, who heard her at the Cantagiro festival in 1970 when she just performed the song "Pensami stasera". At his invitation, she came to Poland and sang at the Sopot festival and received the Journalists Award. In Poland, she released the vinyl record Muza SXL 0840 Farida . In the mid-1980s she withdrew from public life and started a family. She returned in 2005 with the song "Farida Walter Farina - Decisamente complici".
