Nestor Alexander Haddaway is a German musician known to all as Haddaway thanks to his big 1993 hit "What is Love." The musician was born in 1965 in Trinidad and Tobago. When he was 9 years old he moved with his parents to the US where they settled in Washington. There he grew up listening to Louis Armstrong's songs and, influenced by his music, learned to play the trumpet as a teenager. He also formed his first music band in the States. He moved to Germany in 1987, where he worked in bars and later founded a company that organized fashion shows and photo shoots. His career breakthrough came in 1992 when he released the single "What is Love." The song became an incredible hit across Europe and launched this artist's real music career. The song Haddaway - Rock My Heart is one of the artist's subsequent singles, but none of them have repeated the success of "What Is Love." Feel free to watch the music video.
