Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes is a song popularized by American singer Kim Carnes. The song was written in 1974 by Donna Weiss and Jackie Deshannon. Deshannon recorded it the same year, but it did not gain popularity. Only Kim's version was a success. It spent nine consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 list, and the song won Grammy awards in the Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories. The video for the featured song was directed by Australian director Russell Mulcahy.
