Kim Wilde - Water on Glass is the third single by British singer Kim Wilde from her self-released album. The single was released on July 17, 1981, and immediately after its release work began on her next song. A slightly different version of the song was included on Wilde's debut album, which was released in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. The song is about a medical condition that causes tinnitus and ringing. Mention should be made of Kim's mother, Joyce, who was also involved in her daughter's career, being her manager and later also running the singer's official fan-club.
