Real name Lech Stawski , KIS is the name of the band which was formed from the first letters of the names of its founders: Kmit, Iskra, Stawski. After finishing his military service, he worked with such performers as Mieczyslaw Fogg, Janusz Gniadkowski, Homo-Homini, Komand-Band, Pro-Contra and others. They were the first to record world hits in Polish during their prime. In 3 years they released 3 albums and more than 30 cassettes. The song Kis Lech Stawski - White Seagull is his biggest hit, in half a year more than a million records were sold, the song was used in Mr. Janusz Zaorski's film "Happy New York". In his career we can find 16 records, including one platinum and one bad for "White Seagull", two gold for "One Tear" and "Golden Hits".
