Limahl - Never Ending Story is the title song to the children's and teen fantasy film of the same name dating from 1984. The English version was performed by Limahl and Beth Anderson. The song proved to be extremely popular, ranking #1 in Norway and Sweden, #2 in Australia, Germany and Italy, #4 in the UK and #6 in the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song was composed by Giorgio Moroder to lyrics by Keith Forsey. Beth Anderson recorded the song in the US independently of Limahl " and did not appear in the music video. In relation to the film and its title, the song has no distinctive beginning or end, one gets the impression that the song goes on like "The Endless Story."
