Music video description

"Don't Look Any Further" is the eighth single by British band M People, and the third single from their second album called "Elegant Slumming." The song was released on November 22, 1993 and debuted at number nine on the UK Singles Chart. The main part of the song is sung by singer Heather Small, while another part is sung by Mark Bell. The choruses, meanwhile, are sung by the critically acclaimed gospel R&B group Nu Colours.

"Don't Look Any Further" is a cover of a song that was originally in the repertoire of the vocalist's band Temptations Dennisa Edwardsa - Don't Look Any Further. The British band's version is sonically very faithful to the original. It was met with a very positive reception from critics. The video for the song was directed by Jeff Baynes. It was shot over two days in Berlin and features the greatest sights of the German capital. It is the only teledysk M People, which was shot abroad. Some of the shots show Heather Small walking through the cold city center. Mark Bell passes the woman again and again in various places, without being completely aware of it. In subsequent scenes, Small and Bell can be seen leaning against walls that are opposite each other and singing their duet, but never directly to each other. The whole thing is presented in split-screen effect. And which version do you prefer? The original as performed by Dennisa Edwardsa in 1984? Or the cover of the M People band presented here?
