Michael Sembello was born in April 1954 in the United States. He is an acclaimed guitarist, keyboardist, composer, producer, singer and general songwriter. He achieved great popularity with his 1983 hit Michael Sembello - Maniac. The song was featured on the soundtrack to the film "Flashdance" and Sembello himself was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe, among other awards, for the song.
