The song is about the breakup of Nelly Furtado's relationship with DJ Jasper Gahunia. Furtado confirmed in March 2007 at a concert in Munich that the song would be the fifth European single from the Loose album. The music video for the single premiered on June 15, 2007 in the UK. The video was directed by Jesse Dylan. The video shows Nelly Furtado strolling along the beach at various times of the day and the shots are taken in black and white.
