Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark or OMD for short is a British synthpop band formed in 1978. The most famous and recognized hit of this group is probably the song Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Maid of Orleans from 1982. As a curiosity I can mention that the first concert in Poland of this band in 1985 gathered 50 thousand spectators at the Decade Stadium and during the concert the first light show of laser effects in Poland was shown.
