Carlos Santana is a Mexican-born rock and jazz guitarist. In 1966 he formed his first group, the Santana Blues Band, whose name was soon shortened to Santana. The group became popular after performing at the Woodstock festival. In 2003 he was ranked 15th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 best guitarists of all time.
