The song "I tell you that..." is the second single by the band Tilt, which was recorded at Studio Wawrzyszew in Warsaw. The song was released in 1986 by the Tonpress label. It was undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of the 1980s in Poland, and the song surprised the band's fans with a different sound than previously known. The lyrics are relatively simple, but extremely moving. It treats of freedom, love and rebellion. Noteworthy is the composition, which features an innovative saxophone sound.
The hit became an anthem of people free in spirit, who still remembered the hard times of the regime and communism. It serves as a reminder of difficult times. To the attention of our ears certainly deserves an excellent remix of this iconic przeboju grupy Tilt, by Roberto Bedross.
