TLC - Unpretty is a 1999 single recorded by TLC. It was the second single from the album "Fanmail". It became the fourth number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the second Billboard number one for this band. The music video for "Unpretty" was directed by Paul Hunter in August 1999. He combined scenes from several different stories relating to the song's lyrics. It tells the story of struggling with one's weaknesses and finding a way to accept oneself. It is one of the few music videos featuring all members of the band.
