"Baker Street" is a song originally written and released by Scottish singer Gerry Rafferty. The song became the singer's single in and a big hit in 1978 and came from a studio album titled "City to City."
The band Undercover also took the song for its cover. The cover they created became a single promoting their debut album called "Check Out the Groove" in 1992. It was this version that gained particular popularity and found its place in the top ten of the European charts (including. 2nd place in the UK and 3rd place in Germany and a quarter of a million copies sold). Without a doubt, it is the group's biggest hit.
