Vinyl Shakerz - One Night in Bangkok is a song originally sung by Murray Head in 1984 from the album for the musical "Chess." The music was composed by former ABBA members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, with lyrics by Tim Rice and Björn Ulvaeus. The first release topped the charts in many countries, including South Africa, West Germany, Switzerland and Australia. In Canada and the U.S. it ranked No. 3 and in the UK it reached No. 12. The full version of the song begins with an orchestral intro, "Bangkok," in an oriental style, but not to be confused with traditional Thai folk music.
