After a 10-year hiatus, the band Evanescence has released a new album, the new album is titled "The Bitter Truth."

The new CD prepared by the band talks about the very personal tragedies that have befallen the band members in recent times, as well as global problems in general, such as the economic crisis, racism and pandemic. Despite such heavy topics, the album carries a positive message to never give up and to fight against all the problems that life puts before us.

The tragedies that befell the band members (Amy Lee lost her brother and bassist Tim McCord a child) made the lyrics honest to the point of pain, and proved to be healing therapy in the face of the death of loved ones. Amy herself confessed that:

"I want listeners to be able to draw hope, strength and support from this album. People who have survived various difficulties are my greatest inspiration. I hope to convey to them the will to live, even in immensely painful situations. When we face dark and challenging moments, we discover who we really are. They make us stronger. They make us open up to other people. We just need to appreciate what we have. I am grateful for all my memories and experiences. It's high time to create new ones."

Fans of Evanescence have waited a decade for a new CD from their favorite band. The album itself "The Bitter Truth " is a strong rock offering not only for fans of the band Evanescence but also for any lover of the rock sound.
