The electronic music legend has shared with his many fans another third single from his upcoming album "Reprise." It is a new version of the hit song "Natural Blues".

The single "Natural Blues " was released in 2000 and came from the very well-received album "Play" released the year before. The new version of this hit is very faithful to the original and captivates the listener with the refreshed energy of the original. For the new version of this hit, Moby invited Gregory Porter and Amythyst Kiah, who can be heard in beautiful and poignant vocals. And on the instrumental side, the Budapest Art Orchestra played a major role.

The artist himself introduced his new work this way:

I have songs in my repertoire that are filled with sadness and those that are joyful, but more often I think my music exists in a bittersweet suspension in between. Gregory Porter and Amythyst Kiah's performance brings a new facet of longing to this song, which accommodates both light and dark tones. Their reflective interpretation brings out deep nuances in the song that only they could convey in such a unique way.

Meanwhile,

When I first heard Moby's "Natural Blues," I immediately felt some kind of special closeness with the song. It sounded very modern, and at the same time it felt like it was a thousand years old. The various influences that permeated this music were brought out again in the new version - highlighting the soul and spirit of other times. It is a great pleasure to be able to lend one's voice to this classic song, reimagined and reimagined.

Amythyst Kiah also gave a commentary:

I felt a great honor when I was asked to sing on this amazing remix of "Natural Blues". I remember vividly listening to this song as a child, but it wasn't until I started studying traditional American music that I realized I heard Vera Hall's voice in it all the time, sampled from the Lomax collection. I've been performing "Natural Blues" for years, and it's the song I cite as the best example when I talk to people about the importance of field recordings and the places they take us musically. To come full circle in this way is more than I could ever dream of. In turn, the sound of my voice combined with that of Gregory Porter is simply stunning, and I am all the more delighted to share this song with such an incredible vocalist.

The new album "Reprise" will be released on May 28 and will feature the artist's most recognizable hits, which Moby, along with the Budapest Art Orchestra, has given new life to. I myself am looking forward to this release with great anticipation, as are millions of fans around the world.
