Our beloved sister Barby passed away a few days ago after a short illness. We are in deep mourning, please understand
They asked that their mourning be respected and ended their brief statement with the words

Barby Kelly had not performed with the band since the late 1990s, having struggled with health problems.
The band itself was formed in the 1970s and was extremely popular and still has millions of fans around the world.
Their music is pop and folk music in general and hits such as "An Angel", "Fell In Love With An Alien" and "I Can't Help Myself" have probably been heard by everyone. Last year the group performed in Poland, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of their album "Over The Hump."
