Army of Lovers is a Swedish music group founded in 1987. As for the band's name, it was taken from the film "Armee der Liebenden," dedicated to gay activist Rosa von Praunheim, whose title refers to the Holy Host. The video and song Army of Lovers - Obsession is one of their biggest hits released in 1991. It reached fairly high places on the charts. The song is from the album Massive Luxury Overdose.
