Music video description

Buddy Holly - Peggy Sue is a rock and roll song written by Buddy Holly, Jerry Allison, and Norman Petty, it was originally a single recorded by Buddy Holly and The Crickets in early July 1957. The song was also released on Buddy Holly's 1958 album titled after the performer. The song is ranked No. 194 in Rolling Stone magazine's 2004 ranking of the 500 best songs in history, and was originally titled "Cindy Lou" after Buddy's niece, the daughter of his twin brother. The title was later changed to "Peggy Sue" in reference to The Crickets drummer Jerry Allison's girlfriend, Peggy Sue Gerron, whom he had, however, broken up with at the time.
