"Dream On" is the thirty-sixth single by British band Depeche Mode, released on April 23, 2001 in the UK and April 24 in the US. It was the first single from the album Exciter. The music video Depeche Mode - Dream On was directed by Stéphan Sednaoui. As a trivia note, a portion of the video was filmed on the famous Route 66. On June 26, 2001, the band played "Dream On" on The Late Show with David Letterman.
