The song was included in the 1983 album Killer on the Rampage. The song takes its title from Electric Avenue, a street in the Brixton area of London, England. It is so popular that it often appears on television in the TV series "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy," among others. Electric Avenue was re-released in 2001.
