Evanescence - Bring Me To Life is the first single by the American rock band to promote their album Fallen. The song was written by Amy Lee, Ben Moody,and David Hodges. In 2010, the single achieved platinum status by selling 1 million copies in the United States. The song was included on the soundtrack to the film Daredevil. It was thanks to "Bring Me to Life" that Evanescence became known in the music market. In addition, it was used in episode 3, season 3 of the TV series CSA: Miami. The video for the song was directed by Filip Stölzl and shot in January 2003. It depicts the dream of Amy Lee, the band's singer, in which she climbs the walls of a building and reaches the room in which the rest of the band is performing the song. However, at one point she loses her balance and falls, after which she wakes up in her own bed.
