The 1990s wouldn't be the same if it weren't for the big hit of the Spanish band Los Del Rio, or the famous "Macarena." The song was written in 1993, but it was the 1996 version that made the song an international hit. It can also probably be said that it is one of the best examples of the so-called "One Hit Wonder" or one hit star.
The hit stayed at the top of the world charts and became a permanent fixture in music history.
