"Get A Way" is a European hit by a German eurodance music project called Maxx. The song was first released in October 1993 as the project's debut single. It was very popular, especially in the German disco and club scenes. The song debuted in the top ten charts in as many as 11 countries (including Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland and the UK). By mid-1994, more than one million copies of the hit song "Get A Way" had been sold across Europe.
The original version of the single "Get A Way" features vocals by rapper Boris Kohler and singer Samira Besic. Later, it was Linda Meek who performed the song more often, causing the media to link her to the track. The music video for the song was directed by Jonathan Bate. Despite the fact that the clip was only uploaded to YouTube in July 2016, it already has more than 38 million views.
