"Whiplash" is the first single by Metallica from their 1983 debut album "Kill 'Em All." Metallica is an American heavy metal band that was the most influential band of the 1980s. Their first album is considered the forerunner of trash metal, and by extension, they are considered the originators of this style. The song presented here lived to see many covers by Motorhead, among others, for which they won a Grammy Award in the "Best Metal Performance" category.
