Music video description

The hit song "Black or White" is one of the biggest hits of 1991 and another big hit for Michael Jackson. The song took the charts around the world by storm, climbing to No. 1 on the famous Billboard Hot 100 chart just a month after its release. Thus, it was the first single to do so since the group's big hit The Beatles - "Get Back". With this song, Michael Jackson also became the first artist in history to top the charts for three decades in a row, i.e. in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The little hit was the world's best-selling single in 1992.

The song "Black or White" was written and composed not only by Michael Jackson himself, it was also co-written by Bill Bottrell. In it we can hear a mix of pop, dance, hip hop and a substitute of hard rock.

The video for the song "Black or White" premiered simultaneously in 27 countries, and it was estimated that it was watched by about half a billion people around the world, which was another record set by the artist thanks to this song. In the video we can see an 11-year-old boy, played by Macaulay Culkin known for the movie hit "Kevin Alone at Home" or "Kevin Alone in New York," dancing in his room to rock music. This did not please his nervous father, who burst into his room and tried to "silence" him. In revenge against his father, the boy decided to crank up the audio equipment to the limit and started playing his guitar until the windows fell out and his father himself flew into space. You can see the rest of the video for yourself, I invite you to see the big hit from 1991 Michael Jackson in the song "Black Or White".
