Mieczyslaw Fogg recorded his version of this song in January 1936 in cooperation with "Syrena Record". Released at that time, the record with the song "Last Sunday" in his performance reached a record circulation of 100,000 copies, the largest record circulation in the history of the Polish phonographic industry before World War II. The featured song has also been used many times in films, one example being Nikita Mikhalkov's "Burnt by the Sun," in which it was used as a leitmotif with Russian lyrics.
