The video I want to present to you is the song Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know It's True performed by Milli Vanillito from 1989. It is a cover of a song written by Bill Pettaway, Sean Spencer, Kevin Lyles, Rodney Holloman and Ky Adeyemo, however the original version was never as successful as the cover presented here. Some scandal erupted around the band, which led to them being stripped of their Grammy award. Their debut album achieved great success, however, after receiving the award Frank Farian declared that "vocalists" Morvan and Pilatus did not participate in the recording of the album, but only appeared in music videos, which derailed the band's further career.
