"Send Me An Angel" is a 1983 song performed by the group Real Life. It was originally released on their debut album Real Life Heartland, and is their best-known song. This version topped the charts in 1984, among other places, reaching number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. However, the more popular version was the 1989 version I present here. "Send Me An Angel '89", which reached number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the summer of 1989 in the US. Both versions are very similar.
