Music video description

In today's update, I would like to remind you of the 1991 hit song "Joyride." It is one of the biggest hits of the Swedish music group Roxette. The band itself was founded in 1986 and consists of singer Marie Fredriksson and guitarist and singer Per Gessle. The song comes from their third album of the same name.

The song became a huge hit almost all over the world, where it climbed to the very top of the charts in the States, Australia and all over Europe, among others. As an interesting side note, it is worth mentioning that the lyrics of the song "Hello, you fool, I love you" were inspired by the fact that Per Gessle read such a note left on the piano by his girlfriend and later wife. He decided to use this text in the song. Meanwhile, the title of the song itself, "Joyride," was inspired by the words the famous singer Paul McCartney said when describing his collaboration with Johnem Lennonem. According to him, it is "a long joyride," which means "a long ride" in direct translation. I invite you to watch Roxette's music video "Joyride".
