"Underneath Your Clothes" is the second single promoting Colombian singer Shakira's first English-language album, 2001's "Laundry Service." It was the 5th best-selling single in 2000. The video for "Underneath Your Clothes" was directed by American photographer Herb Ritts and was the second and last one he directed before his death. It opens with black-and-white scenes when a reporter asks Shakira how she feels about her transition to the English-speaking music market, and the singer, ironically, answers him in Spanish.
