The Doors video - Hello, I Love You is a single by the American group The Doors from the album Waiting for the Sun released in 1968. The single like the entire album was a huge commercial success for the group. It was The Doors' first hit in Europe. Ray Davies, leader of the Kinks, accused the band of plagiarizing his band's song All Day and All of the Night. Written three years before the album's release, the song was on the band's 1965 demo album when Robbie Krieger was not yet part of the group. Jim Morrison wrote the lyrics the night after meeting a beautiful, unfamiliar woman on the beach. The song itself was much loved by radio DJs.
