The hit song "Everything About You" is the debut single by American band Ugly Kid Joe, which originally appeared on a 1991 EP called "As Ugly as They Wanna Be." The song gained popularity right after it was featured in the 1992 film "Wayne's World" (Polish title: Wayne's World). At the same time, the hit was also released on the band's first full-fledged studio album titled "Amercia's Least Wanted."
The song "Everything About You" was quite a commercial success around the world. It ranked third on the U.K. singles chart and ninth on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, while also topping the charts in Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway. The video was directed by Thomas Mignone, and the clip shows the band playing on a beach in Isla Vista, California. The entire budget was spent on inflatable dolls, which were purchased on the day of the recording from an erotic gadget store. As a point of interest, it is worth mentioning that when the helium-inflated dolls glided through the air the Federal Airport Administration halted the recording session for several hours, as planes departing from the nearby Santa Barbara airport met them in their tracks.
