Zucchero - Cuba Libre is one of the singles featured on Italian rock singer Zucchero's recent August 2006 album Fly. The song became a hit in Europe. The song's title translated from Spanish means "free Cuba," and the music video features Cuban culture depicting, among other things, the figure of Fidel Castro, couples dancing salsa and productions of Cuban cigars. Cuba Libre is also the name of an alcoholic cocktail combining rum with cola and optional lime developed in Havana in 1900.
