"Visitors from Matplaneta" is a Polish educational children's television program shown on TVP in the 1980s and 1990s. Many of you are probably familiar with the program, but perhaps not everyone knows or remembers that the song from the show's credits was sung by a great Polish artist Andrzej Zaucha. The program itself looks rather archaic today, but probably many of you in the 80s sat with blazes on your faces in front of your TV sets waiting for the next episode of the program. The eponymous Visitors from Matplanet are the mathematical characters Pi and Sigma. The former is rather shy, onlookers and cowardly, while the latter is inventive, clever and confident. The lead music was composed jointly by Rafal Blazejewski and Marcela Latoszek, while the words were written by Magdalena Wojtaszewska. As I have already mentioned, the whole thing was sung by Andrzej Zaucha, I invite you to watch and reminisce about your childhood by the lead from the program Visitors from Matplaneta.
