Bananarama 's song Venus is this band's biggest hit. The first place on almost all the charts speaks for itself. The year 1986 would certainly not have been the same without this song. It must have reigned supreme at every disco in those days. The original of this song dates back to 1969, when it was recorded by the band Shocking Blue.
