Music video description
Elton John is a world-famous singer, pianist and composer born in 1947 in the United Kingdom. During his musical career of more than 45 years, he composed a great number of hit songs that have gone down in musical history. Today's video I would like to remind you of is a song from 1990. It may not be one of those greatest hits, there will be time for those yet, but I decided to add it because I mentioned it when adding the video Billy Joel - The River of Dreams. The point was that both music videos are quite similar to each other because in both of them we can notice similar locations, play of lights, colors or camera play. In both music videos we can also see the main characters playing the piano. The similarity is not accidental, simply a similar theme was chosen by the director who prepared both videos, i.e. Andy Morahan. He is quite a well-known figure in the world of music videos, having worked with such artists and bands as Wham!, Pet Shop Boys, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, Guns N' Roses and dozens of other great artists and bands on their music videos. Here it is worth mentioning, for example, the beautiful music video Guns N' Roses - November Rain, whose director was also Andy Morahan. At the very end I will also mention the fact that the very song I am adding in this post that is Elton John - You Gotta Love Someone was on the soundtrack to the 1990 film "Fast as Lightning" starring Tom Cruise.
