Hello to all lovers of good old hits in another update. I'm starting today's one with movie music and, more specifically, a song from the soundtrack to the 1978 film Midnight Express. The author of the theme and soundtrack is Giorgio Moroder, who I already had the opportunity to mention to you on the occasion of the new album by the band Daft Punk. Giorgio Moroder won an Academy Award for the film's soundtrack and has since gone on to create film music. It is worth mentioning that he has written music for such blockbusters as Superman III, Flashdance, Scarface, The Neverending Story and Top Gun.
