Marek Grechuta - Ojczyzna

I would like to devote the next music video update to patriotic songs again. To begin with an artist who needs no introduction to anyone, but a few words are worth writing. Marek Grechuta was born on December 10, 1945 in the beautiful city of Zamosc, and from a fairly young age learned to play the piano. He was a very talented and versatile artist, not only a composer or singer, but also a poet, painter, interested in philosophy and sculpture, and by education he was an architect. I think he can confidently be called one of the main performers of Polish sung poetry, having accumulated many awards and decorations to his credit. He was awarded many times during the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, at various other festivals or song reviews. He was also awarded the Silver Cross of Merit or the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. It's hard to list all his achievements, but they confirm one thing, that he was a great artist. Today I would like to present to you his patriotic song entitled "Homeland."
