Music video description

Queen - Breakthru is a song by British rock band Queen. Released in June 1989, the single from their album The Miracle reached number 7 on the UK charts. The song begins with a 30-second vocal harmony and is a fast rock song with a distinctive rhythm. The single version is identical to the one on the album 'The Miracle'. The video shows the four band members riding on a retro train called Miracle Express. The video was shot at the Nene Valley Railway, near Peterborough, and featured Roger Tylor's friend Debbie. Before shooting, the band took out a £2 million life insurance policy. A Queen spokesman said: "They thought it would be wise to take out special insurance, as it looked like it would be an extremely dangerous event." The shooting was done on a platform-car. The train sped at times at 80 km/h. The never-released song "A New Life Is Born" was used as the basis for the song, or rather, its beginning.
